FSA Management Consulting provides the support and necessary skill sets that students need in order to optimise the way they study and learn; thus improving their performance, and ultimately contributing to the achievement of the Department of Basic Education’s objectives. Our course, geared primarily towards Matric learners, consists of an accredited course in reading, analysing, and responding to a variety of texts; as well as motivational hacks; and time management.

Course outline:
•  Motivational hacks: discover ways to manage your own motivation levels, celebrate your small successes along your journey.
•  Reading strategies: skimming and scanning for a range of purpose, audiences, and contexts.
•  Unlock the meaning behind the printed word: learn to identify and explain the surface and embedded messages of your study texts.
•  Explore the possible effects of content on different readers: learn the art of making great study notes.
•  Set realistic goals and progress targets.
•  How to schedule extra time to improve your performance in subjects that you find challenging.
•  Record and evaluate your progress.

Learners who successfully complete the portfolio of the accredited component of this course will earn credit towards comparable post-matric programmes of study
